Can't hardly wait...

I bid goodbye to the office and now it's time to prepare for a much needed break... me and the boy are off to tend to some last minute things for our trip to St. Barth's.... Did I mention that I can't hardly wait???!!! See you in a little over a week...

while red marked the spot for the love that filled the air!!!

While I have been a bit more occupied than usual, I couldn't go without wishing you an endless day of romance!!!

Obsession: Pink infused walls...

While I am a big fan of walls covered with intricate wallpaper and designer paint, I have always called home to neutral colored walls... not quite white, but hardly a tint of color... whether it be paint or wallpaper, I love how these different rooms incorporate shades of pink without overpowering the room... enjoy!!!

Monday's SCENTsational Room...

One can truly get lost in this room shot... Your eyes bounce from the cotton candy colored vintage armoire to the numerous perfume bottles and various trinkets set  on top,  your eyes then settle on the vintage cream and onyx  mini-carryalls accented by the sheer black lace curtains that work well against the light shading of the colors seen throughout...

For me, this has to be the most exciting addition to the plex crystal trend this season... the diamond-shaped plex crystal kiss lock adds a certain innocence to the bag; a secret obsession with diamonds and all things romantic...

This room in designer Jill Stuart's home appears so calm, so cool and not to mention so comfortable... I imagine myself sprawled out on the coach wrapped in this caftan, wearing these heels and reading the latest copy of Vogue.... Pinktastic!!!

Wednesday's Living Spaces...

When I saw this NYC penthouse apartment featured in Elle Decor, I was struck by the strong presence of the wall art seen in the first room shot... The multitude of colors displayed is an open invitation for the use of color in the room... The brown velvet chaise, the moss and maroon striped fabrics and the shades of pink seen in the pillow and flowers give the right amount of color needed to keep the eye focused on the art set as the room's focal point...  The terrace is also decorated subtly, not to take away from its own focal point... CENTRAL PARK... how dreamy...

The crispness of the white tablecloth, enhanced by the white trim around the chairs...delicate shades of pink scattered throughout the room, seen in the flowers and end chair...reflected by the mirror over the fireplace...a wonderful setting for brunch...
