As the rain poured around us on Sunday evening, we enjoyed tapas and cocktails on the porch of the inn where we were staying... pretty soon the rain stopped, and the most beautiful rainbow I had ever seen appeared before us... 

The colors were so intense and vivid, bands of colors running seamlessly across the sky... a view inspiring styling from it's beautiful hues... until Monday, enjoy!!!

In this heat, many of us would like to keep cool like this...

A loose, light dress... handheld bag... hair swept into a delicate ballerina bun and sandals that are good to your feet but in a pattern that keeps this look hotter than the heat... enjoy!!!

Not your typical garment display...

As one of those people with limited closet space and no walls to knock down or rooms to convert,  I daydream about how I can work my wardrobe into other living spaces... shoe organizers hung on doors work, but aren't very attractive and piling clothes on top of each other in an effort to make things fit in your closet just doesn't cut it... 

On last week's episode of Design Star, I fell in love with the idea of a showroom feel for your treasured bags, shoes and outfits... framed to size, display your goods like the works of art that they are... definitely a future DIY... until Monday!!!

Almost dressed up with somewhere to go...

As I mentioned the other day, I'm off to Miami next week... a week long vacation initiated by a wedding affair... but before I can imagine myself laying on the beach and enjoying evenings out on the town, I have to put the finishing touches on my formal attire for this intimate occasion... 

 

delicate braids of silver and gold leather create the perfect heel and a gown of champagne colored satin awaits embellishment... I envision a velvet sash with an antique pin fastened around my waist...  my goal this weekend: to create this glamourous sash... to be continued... until Monday, kisses!!!
