Virtual Vacation Week... Thursday's Edition...

Serenity surrounds you in a colorful setting... take in the brightness of it all and let it inspire you as we will soon be wishing summer farewell...

Wednesday's Living Spaces...

When I saw this NYC penthouse apartment featured in Elle Decor, I was struck by the strong presence of the wall art seen in the first room shot... The multitude of colors displayed is an open invitation for the use of color in the room... The brown velvet chaise, the moss and maroon striped fabrics and the shades of pink seen in the pillow and flowers give the right amount of color needed to keep the eye focused on the art set as the room's focal point...  The terrace is also decorated subtly, not to take away from its own focal point... CENTRAL PARK... how dreamy...

New York State of Mind...

New York, New York...Such enchanting places with wonderful interiors and exteriors... love the splashes of red, the grand chandeliers, black and white features throughout, quilted walls, bright lights and neutral tones... such a wonderful playground...

I will be away for the weekend...See you Tuesday!!!
