Can't hardly wait...

I bid goodbye to the office and now it's time to prepare for a much needed break... me and the boy are off to tend to some last minute things for our trip to St. Barth's.... Did I mention that I can't hardly wait???!!! See you in a little over a week...

Monthly beach trip time...

Since I didn't have any big trips booked for this summer, I planned monthly long weekends at the beach... I'm off to Block Island this weekend... my first time there so I am looking forward to something new... see you next week!!!

Obsession: The Greenbrier...

Since I have been stuck living in Maryland, I have been exploring the areas around me... I've been all over DC... I've explored the beaches and the eastern shore... but there is one place I fancy seeing... The Greenbrier in West Virginia... and this desire was reaffirmed by this fancy spread in the last Bergdorf Goodman magazine... 

This Dorothy Draper decorated resort has a wonderful history having hosted 26 Presidents and even has a bunker that was built years ago for secret emergencies... I'm all booked for my birthday weekend at The Greenbrier... I can't wait to pamper myself at the spa... stay cool this weekend... 

Dashing to Dallas...

Back from the beach and now its off to repack for a business trip to Dallas... 

See you in a week with promises of a steady stream of posts when I return... kisses!!!

Working girl: Part two...

Time to rise and shine... lots to do before I start the second leg of my traveling... 

After lugging out the summer stash for the Miami heat, its time to separate two sets of wardrobes ... one set for the working girl events and the other for the days at the beach to be followed by evenings on the town...  see you in a week!!!

Working girl: Part one...

I have to head out of town this week to visit some of our offices in the big city... 

But it won't be all work and no play as I plan to hang around the concrete jungle for a few days extra before I head back home and prepare for Working girl: Part two... sweet Valentine's day wishes and the best until we meet again next week!!!

The day has finally come and I'm off to spend my days on cobble stoned streets filled with scooters and quaint shops... 

and evenings by the sea with glasses of fine wine and lots of fresh pasta...

Travel Obsession: Taorima,Sicily...

During my last trip to Sicily, the boy and I took an overnight trip to Taorima... a magical town by the sea... couldn't help but think of Taorima when I saw these pictures... enjoy!!!

All booked...

I've set the dates and booked my trip to Sicily...

This photo reminds me of the balcony on the boy's family palazzo where we lower a basket to the calls of the morning bread delivery... after placing a few euros in the basket, down it goes... filled with lovely pane its pulled up and off we go to have our breakfast... the count down begins... I'm off for a week long business trip... until then, Ciao Ciao!!!

A bit of a break...

I am definitely worn out and in need of a break... I will be spending lazy days filled with brunches and picnics in the park followed by evenings surrounded by friends getting my much needed fix of laughs ... Cheers for now!!!

After a busy two weeks of office work, its time for a personal break... I'm all packed and ready to explore someplace new... 

I'm looking forward to pure relaxation with days spent on the beach and evenings of intimate dinners...
