Taking a fashionable break...

I've noticed that it has been a month since I have written and that my posts have become less frequent... It has been three years since I started this blog as an expression of my obsession with style... and while I will never sacrifice my love of style, I feel it is important that I am fair to my little blog and go on an announced fashionable break... until we meet again.. Au reviour my style obsessed ones!!!

View inspired styling...

As the rain poured around us on Sunday evening, we enjoyed tapas and cocktails on the porch of the inn where we were staying... pretty soon the rain stopped, and the most beautiful rainbow I had ever seen appeared before us... 

The colors were so intense and vivid, bands of colors running seamlessly across the sky... a view inspiring styling from it's beautiful hues... until Monday, enjoy!!!

Any bronzer addicted individual will tell you that Guerlain makes one of the best bronzers on EARTH... 

It happened to be one of those carefree days of mine, where I felt like doing some wandering around when I decided to go to the usual T.J. Maxx where I always luck out... sure enough, tucked away in a protective hard plastic case was a wrapped box of Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder... 

Since the bronzer was wrapped up once and discounted twice, I walked out of the store with my latest score... enjoy!!!

Girl's weekend...

I'm on my way to visit my cousin for an extra long girl's weekend...

there will be plenty of relaxing with lazy days spent shopping and pampering ourselves... but don't you worry, there will also be some memory making evenings out on the town... see you next week!!!

Obsession: Kabuki brush...

It was time to replace my old, faithful makeup brush as cleaning it no longer helped and dusting my face with bronzer resulted in a plastered look... 

Finding a new brush turned out to be more difficult than I thought... different sizes, different shapes, different fibers and different prices... thankfully, I found the one... the brush that works perfectly... with a stroke of my new Kabuki brush, the right amount of bronzer is swept on... if only everything in life were so easy... Happy Monday!!!

Obsession: Perfectly Painted Lips...

As the darkness of the past season passes and the warmth of the new one enters, the only makeup I look forward to wearing is sun kissed skin and a painted lip... 

With the temperature extra warm today, I'm looking forward to a great run outdoors... happy Monday!!!
