Obsession: Crane's electric fireplace heater...

I love small spaces... my obsession started when I visited a family friend's studio apartment... about 10 years old, I was in awe with how the small space housed every room possible including the kitchen... in my NYC apartment, I have a non-working fireplace and have been thinking of something that would work in the space... I think I may have found it in Crane's electric fireplace heater... small at only 9"W x 17"H x 14"D and in colors that pop, this heater is a work of art and functional... and under $100.- gotta love it!!!

Obsession: Triangles...

Living spaces are often dictated by colors and design style periods...  Decorating with triangular shapes brings a multidimensional effect to any setting...

Winter home obsession: My fireplace...

The one thing I love about being stuck indoors during the winter is the warmth of my wood burning fireplace... but since the temperature hasn't dropped low enough, I haven't been able to use it... 

My mantel sits like a lady in waiting for her gentleman caller, but his steps are never near... there are a few weeks left in winter so I might get lucky enough... happy Wednesday!!!

Happy Monday...

The brightness of this room is a pick me up for the beginning of the week... I love the multiple white groupings as well the great rock sculpture by the large glass window...and the fireplace that separates the living room from the dining room, so clever.
